The QC Difference
TRAINING
& GAMEPLAY
Gameplay is the most fun that a child can have, but we also
believe it's important for them to improve their soccer skills and physical literacy. This is why all of our programs include weekly training as standard. Simply kicking and running after the ball is no fun as you get older!
PROFESSIONAL
COACHES
We love volunteer assistants, and they are integral part of our team, but we also have licensed coaches and former players leading the training sessions to ensure that players are developing their skillset and applying what they learn onto the soccer field. Parents and siblings want to help?
AFFORDABLE
FEES
We love Rec Soccer! And this is all we do. Because we specialize at grassroots level, the players can play the game they love in a fun yet competitive environment, and develop at their own rate. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to keep children
healthy, active and safe.
STAY LOCAL.
PLAY LOCAL.
It's a shame that our bee-themed park in Queen's Common will not be ready until 2022. Until then, we will be calling Ajax home. Our number of players may be low to begin with, but we anticipate a quick growth rate, so invite your friends and neighbours too!

WELCOME TO
QUEEN'S COMMON SOCCER
Our Recreational Soccer Program, is a community-based, grassroots soccer program open to all players of any skill level and ability. It is strategically designed to offer fun and excitement to children in a team format, while supporting a healthy and active lifestyle for all players.
Unlike other clubs and organizations where your child merely takes part in just games on a weekly basis, we believe it's just as important, if not more so, to train too, which is why our sessions are a combination of technical sessions and gameplay, each developed from our licensed coaches.
Boys and Girls that are 5-17 years old are welcome to join the Queen's Common Soccer. Players are assigned to groups not just based on age, but experience too. If you wish to be in the same team as a friend, let us know, and we will try to accommodate you.
Our program is aligned with Long Term Player Development (LTPD) guidelines put forth by the Ontario Soccer Association, ensuring players
get enough touches on the ball and are able to truly enjoy the beautiful game!
We will always emphasize the safety and well-being of our players, staff, and supporters first. With covid restrictions frequently changing, we reserve the right to move or cancel sessions accordingly. In such cases, a full refund will be given. We have strenuous covid restrictions and a thorough Return to Play policy.
SOCCER EDUCATION
Your child will learn age-appropriate soccer skills, get some great exercise, and be encouraged to maintain a healthy active lifestyle through their involvement in soccer.
As part of Ontario Soccer's Long Term Player Development program, players will learn correct technique for:
• First Touch • Ball Mastery • Fakes and Feints
• Dribbling • Receiving • Turning • Passing
• Crossing • Shooting • Finishing • Fair Play
• Volleying • Tackling • Defending • Shielding
At Queen's Common Soccer we do our best to facilitate a social environment in which we promote friendship, having fun, being an active part of a team, and promoting the importance of community.

FUTURE SESSIONS
After this 3 week introduction to soccer, dependant on the amount of interest shown, we will look to have regular weekly sessions and twice weekly sessions in Ajax for 2021.
In 2022, when the park opens, that will become our base. Which is why it's important to train now so that we are competent soccer players when the games begin!

OUR STAFF
Our staff are our greatest assets. We have decades of experience between our coaches. Head Coaches are professional, and have received their certification from Ontario Soccer Association.
We welcome volunteers to join our staff too. They will assist with the programming of our sessions, but not expected to lead. If this something that you re interested in, let us know!
